| Q. Is there anything I need to bring when I drop off my computer for service ? |
| A If you're bringing in a laptop for service, remember both your power
cable and the system discs that came with the computer. For service
of a desktop PC, just bring your system discs along.( if you have them).

| Q. Do you guarantee your service? |
A Affirmative! We guarantee our services for 90
days. If there is a problem with the service we provided and you notify us within the stated time period, we will work to remedy your problem quickly and at no additional cost.

| Q. What happens we are unable to repair my computer? |
| A In this case, our No-Fix-No-Fee policy means that there will be nothing to pay at all |
| Q. Do you repair monitors? |
| A Unfortunately, we do not carry out repairs to monitors. For monitor hardware failures, we recommend you to contact the manufacturer or perhaps consult a television repair specialist. |
| Q. Do you repair printers?

| A We carry out software related repairs to printers - driver and/or installation problems, however, we do not repair printer hardware failures. |
| Q. Do you repair laptops?
|
A We carry out software related repairs to laptops, however, we do not repair laptop hardware failures. For laptop hardware failures, we recommend you to contact the manufacturer of your machine.
We can however offer memory/hard disk/optical disk upgrades. |
| Q. Which methods of payment do you accept?
|
| A We accept payment in cash, by cheque and we also accept all major credit and debit cards(PayPal). A full receipt will be given. |
| Q. Does the fee include parts and carriage? |
| A No, the fee is to cover any labour cost incurred by our engineers in fixing your computer. We will contact you and quote to for any parts required before doing continuing the work. |
| Q. Does the price cover any make of computer? |
| A Yes, all desktop PC's |
| Q. How long will it take? |
| A We aim to have the PC on its way back to you within 48 hours of receipt in our workshop. |
| Q. Can I use this service for erratic or intermittent faults? |
| A Yes, in fact this is the ideal service for exactly that. A callout engineer could be sitting there for hours-on-end simply waiting for your PC to demonstrate the fault....at up to
€70 per hour! |
| Q. Can I bring my PC to the workshop and wait for it to be repaired? |
| A Yes, by prior arrangement only. Note: we operate a busy workshop - all drop-in repairs must pre-book a time-slot.. |
| Q. Can you build a top-spec PC system for me? |
| A Yes, if one of our standard T-bird systems does not suite your need we will happily quote for a custom-built system. |
| Q. Can you provide telephone support? |
| A Existing “named” customers are able to call us during normal office hours for casual support free of charge. For non-customers and for more involved support needs, we provide a Dedicated Paid support line. |
| Q. Is my computer worth fixing? |
| A This varies greatly, depending on the quality and speed of your old computer, and by what you use your computer for. If you simply like to get online, check e-mail, and browse the web on occasion, a computer as old as 5 years may still meet your needs. Call us for advice we have a lot of experience of repairing and upgrading relics! |

| A Our prices are competitive with other companies offering the same level of service and responsiveness. You may find lower priced hobbyists and part-timers, but all too often they deliver irregular service & quality and lack long-term

Callout Fees Although we do charge a callout fee( when applicable),
we believe in a fair and honest approach to pricing. Depending on the
distance, time, job and other factors we will charge an extra fee between
€15 and €50 for a home or office visit. If you are flexible about when we
call then in most cases this charge be minimised. Of course if you leave you
pc at our workshop or we can help you remotely then there is no callout
charge. The total price will be agreed with you before we visit and the
price you are quoted is the price you will pay with no hidden extras
regardless of how long the job takes us. |
